 ow your support for mental health! Don’t miss the beautiful views of the ne
 wly completed state-of-the-art hospital and a glimpse of the Tower of the A
 mericas. This is the only time of the year that the campus is open for runn
 ers and walkers. Dogs on a leash and baby strollers are welcome! Volunteer 
 groups are also welcome to come and cheer everyone on to the finish line.<b
 r /><br />This event benefits the Volunteer Services Council of the San Ant
 onio State Hospital. The Council’s primary mission is to improve the qualit
 y of life and enhance the well-being of patients receiving treatment at the
  San Antonio State Hospital by providing goods and services not funded by t
 he state. The patients at the San Antonio State Hospital are receiving trea
 tment and are on their way to recovery from mental illness. To learn more a
