 rvations.\n\nWould you like to explore some techniques for improving memory
 , expressing creativity, building scientific skills, and increasing your co
 nnection to nature? Journaling regularly can do all this and more. We’ll he
 lp you get started with artist-quality tools, a variety of journaling promp
 ts, and a non-judgmental, sharing atmosphere.\n\nThis activity is open to a
 ges 10 and up and includes both a seated activity and a short hike. Minors 
 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.Park 
 in Lot C and meet at the Amphitheater.  There is a gravel path leading from
  the parking lot to the amphitheater, a distance of about 120’.  The amphit
 heater is near an accessible restroom. 
X-EXTRAINFO:Registration is NOT required!  Though the hike is free, all Natural Area en
 try fees apply.\n\nTo ensure entrance and save time at the Fee Booth, pleas
 e pre-purchase and PRINT OUT a Day Pass. Day passes can be reserved beginni
 ng one month before the date of your visit. \n\nDress for hiking outdoors. 
 Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, bug spray and a hat are recommended. Wear lay
 ers that can be added or removed as weather conditions change. Bring at lea
 st 1 liter of water per person.  We will provide colored pencils and sketch
 pads, but you will need to bring a blanket or portable chair to sit on whil
 e journaling. You are welcome to bring your own art supplies if you’d like.
