The Western Heritage Parade & Cattle Drive Committee produces the annual parade to kick off the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
The parade features a cattle drive, mounted infantry groups, authentic wagons, and heritage organizations that come together to participate in a display of the western heritage and local culture of San Antonio and Texas. The people of San Antonio can also enjoy the Stampede 5K Run through the streets of beautiful downtown and the Vaquero Cook-Off at the Historic Market Square.
