
Spend Mother's Day with Mother Nature and learn to identify local wildflowers.
The hike is approximately 1.5-2 miles round trip over sections of moderately rough terrain with frequent stops to identify flowers.
Who is Invited: Open to ages 8 and over; minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.
Registration, Fees, Day Pass & Cancellation: Registration is required for this hike. Program group size is limited. Sorry, no group registrations.
Registration opens on Saturday, two weeks prior to the event, and closes at noon, the Thursday before the event. Though the hike is free, entrance fees to the Natural Area apply.
To ensure entrance and save time at the Fee Booth please pre-purchase and PRINT OUT a Day Pass. SPECIAL NOTE: Reserving a Day Pass is NOT the same as making a program reservation.

When & Where to Meet: Arrive no later than 8:15 AM. Meet at the Visitor Center. The Natural Area can be very busy! The Natural Area front gates open at 7:00 AM; plan to be at the Visitor Center and ready to go no later than 8:15 AM. The hike starts promptly at 8:30 AM.
What to Wear & Bring: Dress for time spent outdoors. Comfortable shoes, bug spray and a hat are recommended. Bring at least one bottle of water per person and a snack.
