Climbing is an opportunity to test yourself, build strength and confidence, and build bonds with our communities. Global Climbing Day is a celebration of the sport, and a chance to provide inclusive climbing opportunities and lower barriers to entry to help build and strengthen our climbing community.
Screening of the new film Adaptive! Adaptive follows the adventure of Jim Ewing - a Sterling Rope engineer and below-the-knee amputee - and pro climber Maureen Beck - born without her left hand - as they attempt the first all-adaptive ascent of the classic and remote Lotus Flower Tower (5.10+) in Canada's Cirque of the Unclimbables. As their adventure unfolds, we see that the ability to adapt is universal and a common thread that unites us.
