In this Texas insect program, your child will be introduced to the fascinating world of local bugs through a blend of science and creativity. Each week focuses on a different insect, from ants and beetles to spiders and bees, using hands-on activities like crafts, experiments, and outdoor observations. Your child will create a nature journal and learn how to record what they see in it. By the end of the program, students will have a deeper appreciation for Texas insects and a collection of insect-inspired crafts and knowledge to share.
