Looking for a fun and educational way to get your kids outdoors? Join us for the Nature Discovery Series — a free, hands-on program designed for school-age children and their families, happening the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:30 AM at Crescent Bend Nature Park!
Led by knowledgeable Texas Master Naturalist volunteers, each session features a new theme to spark curiosity and deepen your child’s connection with nature. Kids are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and make discoveries right in their own backyard!

July 12 – Discover Dinosaur Tracks
September 13 – Discover A Bug's World
October 11 – Discover Bird Beaks
November 8 – Discover Nature Journaling
-Meet at the 1st parking lot near the Restroom Building and Trailhead.
-Perfect for elementary-aged kids (siblings welcome!)
