San Antonio Soldiers Youth Organization - Mentorship Program

Mentors Responsibilities:
Mentor will have regular contact with mentee
Respond to calls/text messages from mentee within 24 hours
Provide tutoring to mentee before/during/after practice @ mentees request
Mentor will attend one of mentees tournaments/league games/per month and provide mentee with feedback on what he/she specifically notices about their play

Mentee Responsibilities:
Be respectful of mentors
Invite mentor to school events/activities
If any issues arise at home, school, or in any other extracurricular activities contact mentor for advice
Attend one tournament/game to watch mentor and see how he plays and ask any questions to gain more knowledge and understanding of the game

SOLDIERS Organization Responsibilities:
Host a mentor/mentee night once a month/quarter
Provide activities, games, equipment for mentor/mentee night
Provide each mentor/mentee with a quarterly allowance for an optional outing
Provide mentor with ideas, suggestions, advice for mentor/mentee training session
