
If you need a break in a busy San Antonio itinerary, the Japanese Tea Garden is fun and relaxing spot to catch your breath. Quiet, shaded and covered with vegetation it includes a large pagoda, koi ponds and a 60-foot waterfall.
The pagoda is located on the upper level along with the Jingu House Café, an easy stop for tea or lunch. The lower area includes flower beds and the koi ponds. The Japanese Tea garden is popular spot for weddings and photographs, so be sure bring you camera along.
The Japanese Tea Garden is located near Brackenridge Park and the San Antonio Zoo. It is open every day from dawn until dusk, and admission is free. The Tea garden is wheelchair accessible. Pets on leash are allowed.
