North East ISD proudly provides the community with a wide variety of choices in public education, especially through its magnet schools and programs. These offer a variety of teaching approaches that help customize a student's educational program.
Students and parents interested in a magnet program in either middle or high school must submit an application of intent. Students must meet minimum requirements to be considered for enrollment. These requirements vary by magnet program. Each magnet has an application on their website. If there are more qualified students than seats available in the program, the program director may select students by lottery. * Please note, NESA has a different application process than other magnets. Visit www.neisd.net/NESA for information on deadlines specific to that program.
