Joshua Creek Ranch - Kayaking and Tubing

Joshua Creek Ranch - Kayaking and Tubing

Beginning in April each year, after the upland bird hunting season has ended, sporting adventures move to the water. Explore the beautiful Guadalupe River meandering through this area, including the isolated stretch of water that borders Joshua Creek Ranch for 1 ½ miles.

The Ranch will rent you the appropriate equipment, and will drop-off and pick-up your party and their gear. You can enjoy the peaceful solitude of the river’s quiet stretches as well as its exhilarating rapids all within trips ranging from two to four hours. Guadalupe River trips are limited to guests 12 years and older. For younger guests, water recreation on the Joshua Creek using kayaks and tubes is a delightful experience.

The cool, clear spring waters of Joshua Creek and the Guadalupe River are a fun way to escape Texas’ summer heat and take in some spectacularly beautiful scenery at the same time. Joshua Creek is private water within the ranch boundaries and this isolated stretch of the Guadalupe River has very light traffic. Reservations are required for all float trips. It’s best to begin a morning river float by 10 am and an afternoon float by 2 pm.

* Kayaking and tubing are available April 15th through September 1st.
