Fort Croghan was the 3rd of the first 4 forts established by the United States government to protect settlers from hostile Indians along the Texas frontier.

NEVER an admission fee at the Fort Croghan Museum and Grounds.

We are open 2nd weekend of April through mid October, Thursday through Saturday, from 10 AM until 4 PM.
