Mission Kayak

Mission Kayak, located in south San Antonio, offers amazing kayaking trips down the historic Mission Reach section of the San Antonio River. Select from 2 mile, 3 mile, or 5 mile Guided Trips; 2 mile, 3 mile or 5 mile Shuttle Trips; 3 Mile Guided Nature/Eco Tours; as well as on-site hourly rentals. Experience the thrill of kayaking down specially designed kayak shoots and small rapids. Observe more than 80 different species of wildlife, with occasional sightings of the elegant Caracara, the Great Blue Heron, and the elusive Lesser Blue Heron. All trips are family and pet friendly. Chose from single person kayaks or a Tandem kayak that can seat up to 3 individuals.

All trips include kayaks, paddles, a small dry bag and life vests for both adults and children 4 years and older. Guided trips are led by an American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified Kayak Instructor and the Guided Eco/Nature Tours are led by an Environmental Biologist and ACA Certified Kayak Instructor.
