SAN ANTONIO- UIW football returns to Gayle & Tom Benson Stadium on Saturday, September 3 as the Cardinals host Southern Illinois at 6 p.m. Please see below for all game day information.
 
Parking
Season parking permits will be emailed to season ticket holders and qualifying Cardinals Club members. Guests with season parking permits may enter campus from N I-37/ HWY 281 from the frontage road, just past Hildebrand Ave. Permit holders will be directed to park behind the Ann Barshop Natatorium. 
Parking Passes are available for purchase for the season as well as single game by visiting Cardinals Tickets or calling 210-805-3000. Parking passes will also be available on day of game but will be cash only upon entering. Please note: Season Tickets DO NOT include parking nor automatic access to Cardinals Club.
 
 
Tailgating
Tailgating is permitted in designated areas between the Natatorium and the Mabry Tennis Center. All other tailgating is not permitted. Tailgating will open five (5) hours prior to kick off to valid tailgate credential holders only. Tailgaters will be responsible for providing their own tents, chairs, ice, BBQ grills, etc. UIW will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items. Click here for additional information.
 
Tickets
Season tickets for both General Admission and Reserved Seating are available by calling 210-805-3000 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. or visiting Cardinals Tickets.

Single game tickets are also available online, in person, or on day of the game. Ticket Box Office will be open one hour prior to kickoff.

NO cash will be accepted at the box office. Visa, Mastercard, or American Express will be the only forms of payment accepted.

All guests will enter Benson Stadium from the northeast check-in tables. Gates open one hour prior to kick-off. 

Student Seating
Students MUST have student ID to present to get one complimentary general admission ticket. One ticket per student. NO exceptions. Student tickets will only be available on day of the game.

Student Section is in Section B at Benson stadium, which is located next to the band, but students can sit in any general admission section of the stadium.

Students may purchase additional general admission tickets for any family members or guests at the discounted rate of $5 per ticket. Any students looking to sit in reserved sections C and D will need to purchase at the regular price along with any family or guests that may join them.

Fan Zone
The Fan Zone will be located inside the east stadium entrance, offering bouncy houses and activities for fans before the game.
 
Clear Bag Policy
Each ticketed attendee will be allowed to enter with one (1) clear plastic bag. Fans will be able to carry the following styles and bag sizes into Benson Stadium:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
-Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear   plastic bags. The bag cannot be larger than 4.5" x 6.5".
-Exceptions will be made for approved medical needs items after proper inspection.

Guests carrying bags that do not meet the criteria will be asked to return them to their vehicles.

Concessions
Concessions will be available one hour before kickoff and throughout the game. There will be multiple stands open for your convenience that will include food, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic beverages. We will be accepting cash, credit card, CashApp, and ApplePay. In the event of rain, we will have a limited supply of ponchos available for purchase.

If purchasing alcoholic beverages, please have a valid ID ready when purchasing to expedite service. Drink Responsibly!

Merchandise
Merchandise will be on sale at the UIW Bookstore kiosk located in front of the McDermott Convocation Center during pregame. Purchase online any time here.

Player Pass List
Player pass list for family members/guests of student-athletes will be located at the ticket booth next to the East entrance and the bronze Cardinal. Guests will check in at the ticket booth and then enter the stadium from the East entrance. Tickets are good for General Admission seating ONLY. If family and/or guests are looking to sit in Section C or D, they must purchase a reserved ticket at regular price.

Media
UIW welcomes accredited members of the media to Benson Stadium for athletic events. If you would like to request credentials to cover a UIW Athletics event, please contact Alexa Low at alow@uiwtx.edu.

All members of the media MUST remain in the designated areas. Please see a member of the media relations staff for your designated area. Media members should not enter team coaches' boxes.
