JUNE 24 - 27: VBS 2024
Our theme is “Hometown Nazareth – Where Jesus Was a Boy” We will go back to Bible times and hear his mom Mary tell about the childhood of Jesus. We will visit the Marketplace and make Bible time crafts. We will need Family Group leaders and Teen Helpers, Recreation Helpers, Marketplace Shopkeepers, and a Drama Team.
Children’s Summer Musical Camp
Children’s Summer Musical Camp:
This summer we will be rehearsing and performing Allen Pote’s wonderful musical “Say What?” that explores two different Bible stories where languages helped fulfill God’s purpose. With the stories of the Tower of Babel and Pentecost we learn that if we follow the Great Commandments, loving God and loving our neighbors, no matter how different from us they are or what language they speak, we will surely be filled with the Holy Spirit.
We will learn the musical throughout the week, as well as play lots of games, explore instruments, and do crafts.
The camp is July 8-12, 9am-3pm with the musical performance on Sunday, July 14 in the sanctuary between the 9a.m. and 11 a.m. services. Children Kinder - 6th grades are welcome. Tuition is $30 per child. Tuition assistance is available.
